The Friends of Greater Lansing Dog Parks (FGLDP) is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization made up of dog lovers just like you. Our goal is to create public, off-leash parks for the greater Lansing area. Tour our site to learn more!

FGLDP raised the funds to open the Soldan Dog Park in September 2007. (See our Sponsors page.) We are committed to continued fundraising to support maintenance, improvement and development of dog parks. Membership fees and donations are our primary sources of funding.

Your membership in Friends of Greater Lansing Dog Parks supports dog park development. Membership levels of support are listed below. Any membership at the $250 level or above is recognized on the Sponsors sign at the Soldan Dog Park. Your membership at any level is welcome to support dog parks.

As an all-volunteer organization, we welcome your help in any area. We need board and committee members and volunteers with a variety of skills to support our efforts. Volunteer on the member application or e-mail us at info@lansingdogparks.com to explore volunteer opportunities.

Join now for an annual membership through December 31. New memberships paid from September 1 through December 31 are valid through the following year.

  • $15 ~ Individual Membership
  • $25 ~ Business Membership
  • $25 ~ Pack Membership (all members of the same household)
  • $50 ~ Big Dog Sponsor
  • $100 ~ Bronze Bone Sponsor
  • $250 ~ Silver Bone Sponsor
  • $500 ~ Gold Bone Sponsor
  • $1,000 ~ Best in Show
